A New Fresh Look

This house was built in the 1990’s and, thus, had the pickled oak look throughout it. The stair handrail had a volute that curved out. It was time to update the look. We cut out the extended, curved bottom tread and replaced the newel post with our handmade boxed newel post and replaced the painted balusters with beautiful metal ones.

Warren cutting out the extended step.

We were to paint the stringers and the risers, stain the treads and balcony nosing to match the new flooring that was installed by others.

After that was completed, we then installed painted box newel posts.

We installed the handrails and metal balusters, which came from another source.

A new fresh look.
